The year sure has been heating up. How can one afford great games like The Division, Fire Emblem Fates, Far Cry Primal, and more at this rate? Well fret not fellow gamers because Tristan has the scoop on some free games and demos to ease that aching wallet. That’s right, it’s time for Game Free.
Heart & Slash: Here’s a game starring an adorable robot with a pixelated heart on his computer screen. Said robot is trying to escape other, more villainous machines trying to destroy him. As the name suggests, it’s all about slashing, or punching opponents to stay alive. The game is currently on Steam Early Access for $25. That may be steep for a glorified demo, but hey, there’s also a free demo out there so try that before laying down any money.
Super Nanny Sleepytime Ultra HD Alpha Omega: Babysitting can be a hard gig especially when the little tykes don’t obey orders. What if a slap from a pillow were to lull them to sleep? It’d be a miracle. Even though pillows aren’t the toughest weapons around, they can still hurt and would actually probably give children bruises so best not to experiment in real life. However, in this game, go nuts? Currently, there’s only a free demo available with no idea of a finished product, but hey, it’s a fun arcade experience as it is.
Piñata Bash: What would happen if a blindfolded child went berserk while trying to find a piñata. Well, Piñata Bash is the answer. Like Super Nanny, it’s an arcade experience, best replayed over and over again for a high score. It’s a basic concept for now, but this writer can imagine it going crazy places much like the Katamari Damacy series. Put the kid in a room and go wild destroying everyone and everything in site for maximum points. Yes, for now, just a dream, but try out their free demo to encourage that dream into a reality.
Special Notes: Check out the video preview of these three games on the accompanying YouTube Channel, ReActionExaminer. Links for all demos are included within each game title.
